Gate Entry Details

On each day of judging entry to the car park is by means of the normal dog gate on Wells Station Road from 6am and is for dog exhibitors only.

Exhibit numbers and vehicle permits will be emailed to all exhibitors prior to the show.  No vehicle access will be permitted at any other showground gates. Terms and conditions for vehicle passes are below.

All group winners and class in group winners are required to attend on Sunday 22 February 2026.

Exhibitors are advised:

  • to allow sufficient time for possible traffic & parking delays
  • space around the upper dog rings will be just adequate for each days judging and areas may not be “held” for the duration of the show. Tarpaulins, tents, gazebos, ropes, pegs, etc. left around these rings prior to and after the day of actual judging or before 6am on Saturday morning will be removed.

​Weather forecasts for Canberra are available on the Bureau of Meteorology website. Ensure that you come prepared for yourself and your canine friends with plenty of water and shade and wet weather gear.

The RNCAS is concerned about the health and welfare of all animals exhibited.

This is NOT a benched show. Please bring your own shade protection and ensure you have plenty of water and cooling facilities for the welfare of your dogs.

Exhibitors please be advised that temporary structures (gazebos/tents) may now be erected under the power lines as long as they do not exceed the height limit of 2.5 metres and are earthed.

Vehicle permit terms and conditions are as follows:


The Royal National Capital Agricultural Society (RNCAS) ABN 12 008 514 912 Access and Unloading Conditions

  1. All persons entering EPIC must comply with Security and other authorities' directions at all times.
  2. The vehicle permit stipulates ability to enter showground and/or park in designated areas if applicable.  You must comply with directions on your vehicle pass.
  3. Strictly 10 kph speed limit (walking pase) throughout EPIC.
  4. Vehicles must not obstruct any ermergency doors, fire hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers.
  5. Use an escort to assist vehicles/plant/machinery in congested areas.
  6. Report all incidents, emergencies and hazards immedicately to the RNCAS Communications Centre on 0461 460 982.
  7. Vehicles parked contrary to the above conditions shall be rmoved at owner's expense.
  8. All vehicles exiting EPIC may be subject to a security inspection.
  9. The RNCAS does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever to any vehicle, it's accessories, contents or other property or death or injury suffered by any person. Persons are to indemnify the RNCAS and it's agents against any claims which arise as a result of the vehicle being in EPIC.
  10. Exhibitors must comply with the times during which they are permitted entry/exit to the grounds and any constraints placed on parkiong within the grounds.
  11. Passes will be issued and must be displayed on the dash/window of the vehicle at all times.
  12. Registration numbers must be provided on entry or acceptance forms as requested.  Only vehicles with pre-recorded registration numbers will be allowed access.
  13. Fees for public parking may be applicable and are not necissarily included in camping or entry fees.
  14. Passes will be issed with limitations as to time, date and locations and will also specify entitlements for parking or loading/unloading restrictions.
  15. Any vehicle attempting to gain access at a time or date not specified for that vehicle will be refunded acfess.
  16. Any vehicles with a loading/unloading pass found parked improperty on the grounds will be towed away and all expenses will be the responsibility of the vehicle's registered owner.
  17. Any vehicle found improperly parked on the grounds at any time will be towed away and all expenses will be the responsibility of the vehicle's registered owner.
